The Consumer of electrical service is at the core of the Authority’s work. In line with the Authority’s role in protecting Consumers, regulations and instructions with which Service Providers must comply have been established to ensure a reliable electrical service that safeguards Consumer rights and obligations.

 

Your rights are reserved  with the Authority:

  • We issue the documents that regulate the relationship between you, as a Consumer, and the Service Provider.
  • We ensure the Service Provider’s compliance with the requirements for delivering electrical service and improving its quality.
  • We handle complaints that arise between you and the Service Provider.
  • We monitor electrical service provision through performance standards that improve service levels.
