Approval Issued for Renaming the Authority to Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority

On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, corresponding to 28 Ramadan 1445 AH, the Cabinet approved the decision to rename the "Water and Electricity Regulatory Authority" to the "Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority".

This decision supports the Authority’s role in regulating the electricity sector, continuing the development and enhancement of electrical services, and reinforcing its role in protecting electricity consumers.
